Johnson soars, Mangold shines as Lakota East handles Taft in Ohio Valley Hoops Classic

MASON — Nate Johnson was a high-flying whirlwind Friday in the season-opening Ohio Valley Hoops Classic.

The Lakota East High School junior point guard roared to a career-high 28 points and earned the Most Outstanding Player award in the Thunderhawks’ 75-65 victory over Taft in the sixth annual boys basketball showcase event
