FORT WALTON BEACH, Fla. — Franklin High School’s softball excursion to the Sunshine State hasn’t produced immediate success.

The Wildcats were 3-0 in Ohio before heading south and taking three straight defeats in the Florida Softball Beach Bash at the Preston Hood Athletic Complex.
