Lakota East’s Hooks runs strong after preseason injury: ‘I’m grateful to God for keeping me safe’

LIBERTY TOWNSHIP — The Lakota East High School football team is enjoying a massive turnaround this season, going from 1-9 last year to 8-3 this year.

Ryder Hooks is thrilled to be a part of it, even if it took him a little while to find his mojo.
