Hamilton turns in big Opening Day performance, gets homers from Schappacher and Rupp in rout of Badin

HAMILTON — Beginning his 32nd season coaching the Hamilton High School softball team, Steve Heckman admits he still gets nervous before games.

“I told them I didn’t sleep,” Heckman said. “I still get nervous and excited.”
