Monroe rallies from early deficit but can’t quite catch Turpin, ends season with D-I sectional loss

LIBERTY TOWNSHIP — The end of the road was an emotional place for Monroe High School’s Paityn Corthell and Saffie Weidner on Wednesday night.

They’ve been playing together for about a decade and went out together as the Hornets’ only two seniors after a 40-31 loss to Turpin
