‘Our everything’ Daniels keys Middletown as late surge beats Monroe in Butler County Backyard Bash

FAIRFIELD — Middletown High School girls basketball coach Steven Roe had had enough as the third quarter was winding down Friday afternoon.

Trailing 35-28 against Monroe late in the period, Roe called a full timeout and made a point of using the entire session to challenge his squad to work harder
