Balanced effort helps 20-1 Franklin fight off Stebbins and celebrate first D-I sectional win

CENTERVILLE — Franklin High School’s boys basketball team grabbed a lead at halftime and then held off a gritty Dayton Stebbins team to secure its first-ever win in the Division I sectional tournament by knocking off the Indians 71-65 on Saturday afternoon at Centerville.
