Monroe outlasts Taylor in OT in D-II sectional, celebrates first tourney triumph since 2005

SHARONVILLE — Monroe High School boys basketball coach Aaron Horne pumped both fists and let out a howl as the final horn sounded Saturday afternoon at Princeton.

Jack Taylor had just made a free throw with 1.7 seconds left in overtime, lifting the Hornets to a 50-49 Division II sectional win over
