Monroe’s SWBL championship bid slowed by tie, but third straight title on the line Thursday

MONROE — There was no celebration for Monroe High School’s girls soccer team Tuesday night, but the next-best thing wasn’t so bad.

The Hornets were looking to clinch the outright Southwestern Buckeye League Southwestern Division championship against visiting Valley View and came away with a 1-1 tie, and that
