Waynesville continues statement-making early surge, conquers Monroe to remain unbeaten

MONROE — There is no question that Waynesville High School’s girls soccer team has an eye on making some history this season.

The Division III Spartans are off to a 5-0 start and have outscored their opponents 44-3, taking down D-II powers Kettering Alter (the defending state champion) and Monroe
