Howard-to-Gibson connection shows the way as Preble Shawnee tops Madison in Hubbard’s debut

GRATIS — Seniors Travis Howard and James Gibson connected on four first-half plays for 70 yards and two touchdowns in leading Preble Shawnee High School’s football team to a 19-12 season-opening win Friday night over Southwestern Buckeye League Buckeye Division rival Madison.
