Franklin kicks off season with shutout of Monroe, earns another year with Booster Bowl trophy

FRANKLIN — The Booster Bowl trophy will be staying with Franklin High School’s football team for at least another year.

The host Wildcats opened the season with their fifth straight win over local rival Monroe on Friday night at Veterans Memorial Field at Atrium Stadium, posting a 17-0 shutout in
