Paxton, Sherman striving to end Badin’s championship drought at state meet in Canton

HAMILTON — Luke Paxton and Adam Sherman look at the name on the wall and figure it’s been long enough.

Badin High School has managed one state swimming champion in its history. That was Chris Rigling, who was the 100-yard breaststroke winner in 1981 when there was only one division.
