Oak Hills sinks Lakota West on Brandt’s buzzer-beating layup in first-place showdown

WEST CHESTER TOWNSHIP — Lakota West High School’s boys basketball team got knocked out of first place in the Greater Miami Conference in heartbreaking fashion.

Cam Brandt intercepted a pass at midcourt, sprinted to the basket and converted a layup at the buzzer, giving visiting Oak Hills a thrilling 65-
