Winless Talawanda puts up good fight, but Edgewood triumphs and remains atop SWOC

ST. CLAIR TOWNSHIP — There wasn’t much of a celebration Wednesday night after Edgewood High School’s girls basketball team maintained its first-place status in the Southwest Ohio Conference.

The Cougars didn’t play up to their expectations in a victory over winless Talawanda, leaving them feeling a bit empty
