FAIRFIELD — Lakota West High School’s girls basketball team is heating up after putting its rare 0-2 start in the rear-view mirror.

The Firebirds are looking more and more like the Firebirds of old with their full-court pressing and high-speed attack, and they buried Fairfield 70-36 with that style of
