Waynesville’s furious comeback can’t overcome Whisman, Madison in SWBL opener

WAYNESVILLE — Grant Whisman surprised nobody as Madison High School’s answer man Friday night.

The 6-foot-7 senior forward and Cedarville University recruit was strong all night at Waynesville, but he answered the call in a big way as the Mohawks’ 18-point lead nearly melted away.

Whisman tallied 12 of his 33 points
