LIBERTY TOWNSHIP — Clint Adkins has never experienced a preseason like this one.

Five players on his Lakota East High School boys’basketball team suffered injuries that will make the squad a little short-handed to open the season, but the expectations remain the same. The Thunderhawks are setting out to defend
