CINCINNATI — Garren Carter walked away from his Lakota West High School football career with a smile and a clear sense of satisfaction.

Carter & Co. didn’t get the ending they wanted Friday night. Indeed, it was a somewhat painful 42-17 road loss to Elder in a Division I, Region
