Lakota East can’t overcome quick goal, falls to Olentangy Liberty in D-I state semifinal

XENIA — The Lakota East High School boys soccer team’s miraculous run in the Division I postseason came to an end Wednesday night.

The Thunderhawks, making their first state appearance since 1999, fell to Olentangy Liberty 1-0 in a state semifinal at Xenia’s Doug Adams Stadium.
