Gallagher’s overtime goal ignites celebration, sends unbeaten Monroe to Division II regional final

LEBANON — Jade Gallagher declared herself an unlikely hero Tuesday night.

Monroe High School’s junior midfielder tallied the game-winning goal just over five minutes into overtime as the unbeaten Hornets continued their dream season with an emotional 3-2 victory over Tipp City Tippecanoe in a Division II regional girls soccer
