Unbeaten Monroe makes history, claims D-II district title with victory over Badin

ROSS TOWNSHIP — Monroe High School junior Alyssa Beckett contemplated the question, took a second and then let out a scream of happiness.

“It was crazy,” Beckett said. “We had high expectations, but we didn’t think we could make history. This is amazing.”
