Fenwick can’t hold off Oakwood, ends season with 2-1 district semifinal defeat

BELLBROOK — Ultimately, the lead didn’t last.

Fenwick High School’s girls soccer team played ahead for more than 46 minutes Monday in a Division II district semifinal, but Oakwood’s Lily Eifert scored two second-half goals to sink the Falcons 2-1 on a rainy night at Bellbrook.
