Defense, Afari lead the way as Lakota West conquers Lakota East, pushes record to 6-2

WEST CHESTER TOWNSHIP — David Afari rushed 23 times for 76 yards and two touchdowns Friday night as Lakota West High School’s football team defeated visiting Lakota East 16-7.

Josh Laine kicked a 27-yard field goal for the victorious Firebirds, who improved to 6-2 overall and 5-1 in the Greater Miami Conference
