Afari has big night on the ground as Lakota West fights off Mason for important GMC win

MASON — David Afari ran 27 times for 183 yards and two touchdowns Friday night as Lakota West High School’s football team fought off host Mason 14-6 in Greater Miami Conference play.

Truman Mason totaled seven tackles and Alex Afari had an interception for the Firebirds, who held the Mason ground attack
