Lakota East grabs district championship, takes aim at first Division I state title

SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP — Another shot at the Division I state championship is looming for Lakota East High School’s boys golf team.

The Thunderhawks earned their fourth straight state appearance Tuesday by winning a district title at Glenview Golf Course as senior Brock Aten led the way with a 1-under-par 71.
