ROUNDUP: Hamilton’s Mahon, Talawanda’s Cox are victorious in coaching debuts

UNION TOWNSHIP — Hamilton High School’s defense limited West Clermont to 71 total yards Friday night and gave head coach Nate Mahon a victory in his Big Blue football debut with a 21-7 season-opening road decision.

Luke Mattia and Jayden Marshall had seven tackles apiece for HHS, while Cameron Richardson intercepted
