MIDDLETOWN — The offseason was a long one for Fenwick High School’s volleyball team, and it wasn’t because the Falcons were bad last year.

Fenwick made it to the state tournament for the fifth time, then totaled 44 errors in a 3-1 Division II semifinal loss to eventual champion Parma
