Waynesville’s bar remains high, despite loss of highly decorated Ball for the season

WAYNESVILLE — Nik Ball’s senior soccer season is over before it began, leaving him in a state of mixed emotions.

The Waynesville High School striker has torn his left ACL twice in 2019 and won’t be able to play with the Spartans this fall, putting an end to a prep
