Franklin High School's girls basketball team will join Southwestern Buckeye League Southwestern Division rival Monroe in moving up to Division I this season.

FRANKLIN — Pardon John Rossi if he is a little protective of his Franklin High School girls basketball squad.

Not only have the Wildcats lost all-everything player Layne Ferrell to graduation, but they will also be moving up to Division I in 2019-20 after spending the last two seasons in Division
