Fenwick can’t come up with big hit and ends season with D-IV district loss to top-seeded Clinton-Massie

ADAMS TOWNSHIP — Fenwick High School’s softball team needed one big hit, one gapper, to put a serious scare into top-seeded Clinton-Massie on Thursday.

But that hit never came.

Ninth-seeded Fenwick stranded eight runners in the last three innings, 10 overall, and got ousted 4-0 in a Division IV district opener
