From Louisville to Waterloo: Badin’s Moore finding success and grinding toward a big-league dream

WATERLOO, Iowa — Lucas Moore has immersed himself in the grind, playing in nearly 100 baseball games since February.

That’s a lot of competition for a guy who just turned 19 in April, and the summer isn’t over. But Moore, a 2023 Badin High School graduate, is happy to press on.
