Fast-starting Fairland blitzes Waynesville and ends Spartans’ year in D-V regional semifinals again

LIBERTY TOWNSHIP — The reality of the situation became apparent very quickly for Waynesville High School’s girls basketball team Wednesday night.

And there wasn’t much that could be done about it.

The Spartans reached the Division V regional semifinals and promptly got overwhelmed by Proctorville Fairland at Lakota East
