Hamilton soars to D-I district-opening victory, takes down Elder for the first time since 2002

MASON — Hamilton High School’s boys basketball team took a sledgehammer to a piece of history Tuesday night.

Big Blue hadn’t beaten Elder since the 2002-03 season opener and decided to do something about it, outpointing the Greater Catholic League South Division Panthers 42-16 in the middle two quarters
