Talawanda’s Mills takes ninth place to finish among top locals in state meet at Fortress Obetz

OBETZ — Abra Mills stood on the podium beaming with joy Saturday afternoon at the Ohio state cross country championships.

The Talawanda High School senior had just gone from placing 164th individually last year in the Division I girls race to placing ninth with a time of 18 minutes, 21.23 seconds and earning
