Comeback effort lifts Franklin to first win of the season with a Booster Bowl conquest of Monroe

MONROE — The Booster Bowl trophy was a sweet payoff for a Franklin High School football team that desperately needed a victory Friday night.

The previously winless Wildcats ended a seven-game losing streak and rallied past longtime rival Monroe for a 23-16 road triumph in a Southwestern Buckeye League Southwestern Division
