OXFORD — Talawanda High School running back Lance Cantrell smiled when jokingly asked about his off night. 

The senior garnering national attention was “held” to 174 yards and four touchdowns on 23 carries Friday night as the unbeaten Brave football team began homecoming festivities with a dominating 38-8 win over Ross.
