Smaller roster isn’t stopping Poff from pushing forward at Madison: ‘The bar is to be competitive’

MADISON TOWNSHIP — Low numbers aren’t deterring Madison High School’s football team as the 2025 campaign draws closer.

The Mohawks expect to have 30 to 35 players in grades 9-12, a significant drop from last season. But eighth-year coach Steve Poff said he’s more concerned about quality than quantity.
