Edgewood extends win streak and tops Anderson in nine innings, takes aim at Troy in D-II district final

ANDERSON TOWNSHIP — Edgewood High School’s baseball team continues to pile up the superlatives this season.

The Cougars entered the postseason as Southwestern Buckeye League Southwestern Division tri-champions and ran their winning streak to 12 on Wednesday, winning their second straight Division II district contest by outlasting host Anderson 5-2 in
