Combs going out with a flourish as huge day helps Madison top Franklin and extend winning streak

FRANKLIN — Madison High School’s Grady Combs said it is sad to see his senior year coming to a premature close.

Fortunately for the Mohawks, the end was not Tuesday at Franklin.

Combs got the win in his first-ever varsity pitching performance and hit two home runs as Madison continued
