Early-season aspirations: Unbeaten Monroe and Franklin both have high hopes for 2025 campaign

MONROE — Tim Kellis is quick to point out that Monroe High School’s softball team hasn’t arrived yet. But the resurgence has definitely been enjoyable.

The Hornets won 17 total games over the past four seasons, but they’re off to a 5-0 start this year and grabbed a 6-
