FAIRFIELD — There was so much good in Fairfield High School’s 2024 softball season that the humbling finale hasn’t really lingered.

The Indians made it to the Division I state tournament for the first time since 1991, but when they got there, Sydnie Watts fired a perfect game for eventual state
