Franklin dedicates new court in honor of Wildcat legend Luke Kennard: ‘He is Franklin’s favorite son’

FRANKLIN — Luke Kennard called it “special.”

The Franklin High School basketball legend was back in town Friday night at the new high school gym, which is now called Luke Kennard Court. 

Taking a break from his NBA career was something Kennard gladly did to stand in a Franklin standing-room-only
