Short-handed Monroe finds a way to keep winning, fights off Edgewood for SWBL Southwestern victory

ST. CLAIR TOWNSHIP — Adversity is becoming a companion for Monroe High School’s boys basketball team, so it’s getting dealt with.

The Hornets are off to their best start in five years despite some key injuries and took down host Edgewood 50-42 on Friday night at Ron Kash Court
