FAIRFIELD — Monroe High School’s boys basketball team hit the floor focused and determined to fight Friday at the second annual Butler County Bash.

It was exactly what Casey Popplewell was expecting.

His Hornets showed no ill effects from a 42-41 home loss to Little Miami on Monday and rolled
