Poe among Monroe standouts as Hornets kick off season with rout of Butler County rival Talawanda

MONROE — The grin was big after Wednesday night’s game when Monroe High School big man Carson Poe was asked how much he was going to eat on Thanksgiving Day.

It was surprising Poe had any appetite at all after feasting on Talawanda with a game-high 14 points as the Hornets
