Lakota West comes up short in classic battle with St. Xavier, which earns spot in D-I regional finals

SHARONVILLE — St. Xavier High School quarterback Chase Herbstreit admitted he couldn’t even watch the kick, so he was glad to hear his student section erupt.

The Bombers earned the right to compete for the Division I, Region 4 football championship by holding off Lakota West 16-13 in a regional semifinal
