WAYNESVILLE — Waynesville High School’s football team dominated its way into the Division V, Region 20 semifinals Friday night.

The Spartans’ senior-heavy squad piled up 425 yards of offense and had six explosive plays of 25 yards or more in a 55-6 rout of visiting Madeira in a regional quarterfinal, pushing its record
