Edgewood turns to O’Banion-powered ground game and fights past Monroe in regular-season finale

MONROE — As the kick went up, the Edgewood High School football team held its collective breath Friday night at Monroe.

Seconds later, the celebration told the tale as the 30-yard field-goal attempt went wide and the Cougars danced all over the field.
