Fenwick struggles through first day at D-II state tournament, stands fifth heading into final 18 holes

AKRON — Fenwick High School’s state championship goal became a long shot Sunday at Firestone Country Club.

The Falcons struggled to a 357 and sit in fifth place in the team standings after the first day of the Division II state girls golf tournament on Firestone’s par-70 Fazio Course.
